Doctrine Standards

Whether we want to face it or not, the most important thing any individual must deal with is the matter of death and what will happen after this. I am not a theologian, so I must speak as a plain fellow, and I want to put here only the simple basic necessities of how to spend eternity in heaven. Aside from the things you see in this page, there are many things which are quarreled about regularly, and I am aware of these, but I will stick to the essentials only.

Most of my life has been in radio work. I have learned that, in today's American society, most people are accustomed to having things presented to them in short snippets.  In this country we often call these sound bites. Radio may be partly responsible for making this happen. Therefore, when a person who is concerned about their destiny would call me at the radio station, I needed something short to tell them. Therefore, let me say that the scripture verse that you see at the top of the home page has everything in it which is needed to assure going to heaven. If you understand and depend on what this verse says, you are born again and ready to go to Heaven.

It is essential to have a flawless source of information about these things. Even the best of humans can make mistakes, so the Bible (Old and New Testaments) is the flawless Word Of God.

For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. (Psalms 119:89)

God created everything. We all understand this (or understood at one time). We are therefore accountable to Him.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (Romans 1:20)

The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. (Psalms 9:17)

Sin requires payment.

For the wages of sin is death; (Romans 6:23a);

The payment must be made by a perfect man. Therefore, God came to earth as a man, Jesus Christ, by means of virgin birth.

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. (Isaiah 7:14)

As The Son Of God, Jesus shed his blood on the cross to pay for our sins in our place. After three days, He rose from the dead.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; (1 Corinthians 15:3-6a)

This provided eternal life as a gift to all who will trust in Him, by grace. There is no way we can save ourselves by working.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8,9)

There are many other things which are in dispute, including the Music Of The Royal Family music standards, but the essentials for going to Heaven are the things listed above. In other words, complying with the music standards, designated means of baptism, dress standards, etc are not essential to go to heaven.
